How many countries in the world have larger land areas than that of our country’s?
It’s not simply the population number that makes a country overpopulated, it’s actually the population density vis a vis the total land area.
That’s my only comment.

“Own” I think we need to be clarified there by the author of the article. This is not possible under the constitution.

It should be noted that one reason by Cong Nograles why there is a need for Chacha is about some economic provisions that they think should be changed… ownership of land for foreigners in the Philippines. This is interesting because it could either mean “lot and house” or it could mean wholesale of Philippine public lands to foreigners

Million of hectares of foresrtlands to be converted to Jatropha curcas to save mother earth? They must be joking if that is the case. That is simple case of greedy profiteers riding on legitimate issue.

And if everything happens as feared by the author, then there is Cong Alvarez of 6th district of Negros also to be blamed to include “peoples organizations” that supported the bill. ["billion trees act"]

This is just the result of the American corruption of our nation after they invaded us in 1899. They replaced our every system from our Malolos Constitution, our national language, our Academia Militar to our history, culture and national identity. This turned us from fiercly resisting American invasion to perpetual worshipping dependents on the rapists of our sovereignty.

GMA is handing over our territories to foreigners. These are acts of treason. It is the duty of soldiers among us to arrest perpetrators of this crime. This should have done a long time ago.

why are these foreign corporations allowed to own thousand of acres of lands while most of our existing filipino owned corporations are dissolved because they are allowed only five hectares of land? this carp thingi is not applicable to these foreign corporations?
