Bilang isang masugid na taga-hanga ng banda, umaapaw ang aking galak nang mabalitaan ko na totoo nga na magkakaroon ng reunion concert ang Eraserheads. Sa totoo lang, ninais ko pa ngang tumulong para ayusin ang konsyerto, kahit tagabenta man lang ng tiket o tagakuha ng litrato. Walang trabaho ang nakakahiya o nakakapagod para lang sana makita kong matuloy at maging matagumpay ang konsyerto.
Pero, biglang naglaho ang tuwa ko nang malaman ko kinabukasan rin mismo na ang nasa likod pala ng konsyerto ay isang kumpanya ng sigarilyo. Kung gaano ako kasaya noong gabing nakaraan, ganun din ako kalungkot nang malaman ko kung sino ang sponsor. Ganun na lamang ang aking panlulumo nang malaman kong kakailanganin ko palang tangkilikin ang paninigarilyo para mapanood kong muli ang paborito kong banda of all time.
Ang problema sa konsyertong ay hindi lang dahil sa simpleng niii-sponsor siya ng isang kumpanya ng sigarilyo. Ang problema sa kanya ay dahil iligal na ang ganitong gawain para sa isang kumpanya tulad ng nabanggit. Labag na siya sa batas. At bagamat siguradong mahahanapan ng kumpanya ng butas ang batas para palabasing ligal ang kanilang pag-i-sponsor, isang mangmang lang ang aktwal na maniniwala sa paliwanag nilang ibibigay.
