I don’t judge you, Brian. I’m only trying to understand..
I know you don’t judge me. I am emotional at the moment.
Let’s change topic then. Did you always visit the Philippines, prior to l’affaire CK?
I met CK on my first visit. I have been back and forth seven times since then.
What brought you to the Philippines?
My best friend of 20 years is Filipina. She usually comes to my farm every year. But one time we decided to go to her country. So we met in Manila where she still keeps a house. Then Boracay. I will live with her in Toronto.
Well, at least there’s still a Filipino who cares for you.
I have MANY Filipino friends who love me very much. No worries there. I just can never go back.
How has your family, your mother, reacted to all this?
My family would have no idea about this. My mother, of course, knows everything but she does not have a computer. The rest of my family is very remote in Canada. They would not have a clue. Would not know what a blog was.
So they have no idea that you’ve basically shaken up Philippine high society?
My family has no idea what high society is or what it means. They are way too busy fishing. Hahaha. And drinking. Hahaha.
In hindsight, how do you view now the circle in which CK, Christine and the others move around in?
Toxic and drug-induced boredom. I despise what they represent. The Philippines needs beacons of light, not spotlights of shame.
I pity the youth who have few real dignified people to observe and aspire to be. It’s all about money and family and who owns this and who controls that.
