You know what, we Cebuano’s can decide for ourselves. Why don’t you tell those KSP (Kulang Sa Pansin) nuns to respect our ability to analyze complex matters and please stick to the good habits like the 3 O’ clock prayer habit, and not the bad habit of calling people names. Don’t make the Mass just props for Jun Lozada. Our churches in Cebu were open yesterday, why didn’t they just get in and participate in the regular masses? Why ask for special treatment with regards to Holy Mass.

Well, the U.S. may not be very happy of China’s growing economic influence in the region, especially in the Philippines where they have a strategic interest. This ZTE deal is just one of the repercussions. You must have noticed, the Spratley issue, ZTE scandal, etc. have something to do with that tug of war.
By the way, I respect Cardinal Vidal very much. I’m a music director in a Cebu church choir so we know our bishops and priests very well. My take on this is that priests do not want to be used.

If you can’t rally enough Manila people to support you, what made you think Cebuanos will?
March 19th, 2008 at 3:50 am
Black & White Movement is not real in their intentions by reacting like this. They reacted this way because Cebuanos are not “buying” them. Nag sour grapes dahil hindi pinansin..hahahhahaha….
Go somewhere… and change your movement to “Multicolor”….

the cebuanos are in full support for our Cardinal because he genuinely understands us! and just because we are not jumping into the Lozada bandwagon, nor do we think like you doesn’t mean we are unconcerned. it just means we are not stupid nor naive!

Cebuanos have differed with Cardinal Vidal on many issues but we never resorted to calling him names. We highly respect the clergy because, like us, they are equally prone to mistakes and weaknesses and yet have to take the cudgels of guiding the Catholic flock.
In this sorry episode, Cebuanos who had admired Lozada for his courage at the start are now starting to lose respect for this man. Hilas na kaayo si Lozada paminawon. (In rough translation: Lozada seems to be so full of himself.)
I hope he will find some time to reflect and redeem himself.

To B&WM,
Pls. read the following and hopefully this will remind you of what you’ve done to Cardinal Vidal and the true “color” of your so called “movement”;
NOW WE ARE BITTEN BY THE SNAKES WE ARE WATCHING FOR SOME TIME. AS LONG AS THE SNAKES WERE ATTACKING OTHERS WE WERE WATCHING WITH HEARTFELT ENJOYMENT ONLY UNTIL WE OURSELVES HAVE BEEN POISONED THEN WE STARTED WAKING FROM THE ENCHANTING SPECTACLES. * THE CATHOLIC CHURCH IS GOOD TO THESE PEOPLE ONLY IN AS MUCH AS WE SERVE THEIR PURPOSE. ONCE WE REFUSE TO PLAY THEIR GAME SUDDENLY OUR CARDINALS AND ARCHBISHOPS AND BISHOPS ARE BEING LAMBASTED AND WORST ACCUSED OF BEING BRIBED BY THE PEOPLE IN POWER. IT IS TIME FOR US TO WAKE UP FROM THE WHISTLE-BLOWING CHARADE AND UNMASK THOSE SELF-PROCLAIMED MESSENGERS OF TRUTH.

st leah and st jun should just stick to the issues…
it must have been like a big slap on the face for them and the local organizers when the truth came out– that is the “silent majority” has “spoken” we dont want to hear more half truths from you that’s why linangaw kayo ..you were just looking for a scapegoat to save face kaya idinamay nyo pa si Cardinal Vidal…nagalit tuloy yong mga taong hindi naman galit sa inyo in the first place….you brought pa with you the national media tapos kayo kayo lang halos ang nag attend..
:) you should tell the truth na you were desperate lang to find a scapegoat for the lukewarm reception you got in cebu….what did u come here for?havent we heard or read it all in the local and national media? what did u expect us to do ? scream and run towards to lozada the moment he arrives in cebu?sino ba siya??
we are not mindless creatures who would just accept every hearsay that we hear.. do continue your quest for truth but pls stick to issues and evidences…. ..
:)
good thing u came over and did what you did now it’s clear what your brand of truth is and who you really are.. mga talunan!
