The Center for Media Freedom and Responsibility, which initiated the class suit filed against First Gentleman Mike Arroyo, is asking journalists who may want to sign the complaint to read the complaint and fill up some papers.
Below is a CMFR advisory:
For the class civil suit to be effective and successful, all journalists
and media organizations are invited to join as additional plaintiffs in
the case. Please read the copy of the Complaint for further details.
(attachment with file name “UNIFIED PRESS PETITION”)In view of this, we also attached copies of the verifications to be filled
up by individuals who may want to join and support the civil suit as
additional plaintiffs. For the individual plaintiffs, please read the
Complaint, fill up the verifications and have them duly notarized in at
least 6 copies each.For corporate plaintiffs, an authorized signatory shall fill up the
verification and attach the necessary secretary’s certificate from the
corporate secretary of the corporation evidencing his/her authority to
sign and verify the complaint.Please send the signed and notarized documents ON OR BEFORE DECEMBER 5
